Servicing Croatia’s capital city, Zagreb International Airport stands as the country’s largest and busiest Airport with passenger traffic close to 3 million a year. A steady increase in passenger numbers in recent years (7%-10%), necessitated the need for its expansion and as a result, the New Terminal was opened in March 2017 to accommodate the growing traffic - built at a cost of over 300 million euros and set to house up to 8 million passengers – the New Terminal is an architectural landmark of minimalist beauty and represents a steadfast commitment to establishing Zagreb as the undisputed aviation hub for south east Europe.
